How to be a better Black Friday Shopper - 5 tips.
At the end of the day, everyone wants value. Especially with extending your shopping dollar value and that feeling of getting a good deal...everyone likes the deal. Here at DRIVEN, Canada’s Powersports Webstore, we deal with customers across Canada, from Nelson (BC) to Nippard’s Harbour (NL)…and since 2006, ensuring customers are happy has been key…we’ve put together some Black Friday Shopper tips for you all…here we go.
Tip #1 – Start Early. Black Friday (BF) isn’t just the actual Friday and Monday (Cyber Monday)…you’ll see things kick off the Monday before BF and the key here is to start early…see if the retailer has a list for exclusive codes and offers. These will be beyond the posted savings which will probably range from 10% to 40% savings…but you’ll want to see if there are extra codes, flash sales, etc….these will probably be released throughout the week…your starting point is being on the recipient list.
Tip #2 – Skip in-Store, Shop online. You’re busy…fighting traffic and mall congestion is the last thing you need. Online shopping is done on your time where you get to control your dime. Here’s the beauty of webstores…they’re open 24/7. Now…we do enjoy the in-store experience, we have our own physical store but the majority of our BF shoppers will be enjoying Canada’s Powersports webstore from the site.
Tip #3 – Get Social. What we mean here is create a short list of webstore retailers and join their socials because for many, that’s how you’ll find out about BF pre-registration and/or flash deals.
Tip #4 – Create a pre-Black Friday Budget. The key here, try your best to stick to it. Start with your list of general things you’re looking for…if you’re looking for a new monosuit, you know in general what you’re looking for, but your price range on monosuits could range from a high of 1200 to an entry level price point of under 400. If you’re shopping for others, like family and friends, try to have a general idea of what you’re looking for and set ranges with regards to prices. The key here is doing your research…this ties into our final point #5.
Tip #5 – Research. The key here is investing some time into your options and price ranges. BF shopper tip, look for new brands into your local market. Here in North America, you’ll find some European brands looking to break into the North American market. We want to bring one example to your attention, the Finnish brand Sweep. Sweep has been around since 2001 but only now making an entry into the North America market…for the price point, you get serious value. And as a point of interest, Sweep is Finnish for “Rider in the Group that has the most experience and is reliable.”
So, there you go…five simple tips that might help take some of the stress out of Black Friday (week) shopping. Here at DRIVEN, Canada’s Powersports Webstore, there will be the across the board savings for all, shop while supplies last, but most important, ensure you’re on the Black Friday list, follow on socials…get the deals you desire. Oh, and yes, those of you that support the NLSF (purchase trail passes), you’ll be able to use your NLSF20 code to get an extra 20 bucks of buying power…be a wise shopper this season. Happy shopping all, shop wisely and don’t overextend yourself.
